Gold Coast : Getting There
The Gold Coast is just over an hour from Brisbane and about 75 minutes from Brisbane International Airport. Domestic flights can be made direct to Coolangatta Airport. If driving from Brisbane follow the Pacific Highway south. Gold Coast Trains
From Brisbane Queensland Railway run trains to Nerang where buses meet all trains and provide onward transportation throughout the Gold Coast. From Brisbane International Airport air train run trains direct to the Gold Coast with onward door to door bus connections. For train times please click here. The main station in Brisbane is called Central and another station at the bottom of the hill is called Roma. Both are in the centre of Brisbane. Coachtrans (07 3238 4700) operate coaches direct from Brisbane airport with a door to door service. They also operate buses from Brisbane Transit Centre in Roma Street.
